Who it's for

Built for observability & reporting.

Apprentage is software for the organizations that run and fund apprenticeship programs. Apprentices, mentors, employers, and instruction providers work in the same record with them.

How it works

See the Program Lifecycle

Here is that shared record at work, from plan to review. Each step stays linked to the people and records behind it.

Employer view

Unprecedented OJT observability for employers

Employers and mentors see each worksite task as the apprentice logs it, tied to its work process, and where practice or sign-off is still missing, not just a weekly hours total.

  1. Plan

  2. Train

    3. Mentor reviewEmployer viewMentorApprove the entry or ask for more detail.

A mentor can send an entry back to the apprentice for more detail.

  3. Review

Follow up on evidence and prepare reporting.

    2. Sponsor reportingSponsorCheck required fields; trace to source records.

Approved OJT entries and instruction completion records both feed sponsor review.

Digital OJT Logbook / VELA

Capture OJT in a digital logbook

Apprentices speak worksite tasks into VELA, mentors review the entries, and sponsors see the evidence behind the hours.

Shared verification

Skills verified by everyone who builds them.

Because every step sits in one record, each party can sign off on its own piece. The employer sets the standard, instruction connects to it, mentors approve the work, and the sponsor accepts the result.

  1. EmployerJob Profile Defines the skills and work processes the job requires.
  2. Instruction providerActionable Pathways Connects each course to the job profiles it builds toward.
  3. MentorVELA digital logbook Approves each logged task, or asks the apprentice for more detail.
  4. SponsorSponsor review Accepts the training record against the approved standards.
Certific · Credential verification

Credentials backed by every sign-off.

Certific connects instruction, mentor-approved OJT, and sponsor review to the credential an apprentice earns. Sponsors and training partners check that evidence before they record or share it.

See credential verification

A completion certificate is not automatically a registration-agency credential.

Together, the sign-offs show who verified each part of an apprentice's training, not just how many hours were logged. Registration decisions still follow your standards and registration agency.
